offices of Bunian Association for Evaluation and Community Studies in Khan
Yunis, and stole two computer sets.
According to Khalil Ibrahim al-Khuzondar, 50, the office
workers in the association, at approximately 08:00 on Tuesday, 29 June 2010, he
went to the offices of the association located on the second floor of Yahia
al-Farra building in Jamal ‘Abdul Nasser Streete in Khan Yunis. He was surprised to find the main door of the
offices open, without any signs that it was broken although he closed it on the
previous day. Al-Khuzondar added that he
entered the offices to check it and he discovered that two computer sets were
stolen, but nothing else in the offices was affected. He immediately informed the director of the
association, Bassam Jouda, of what happened. Jouda arrived at the offices and informed the police, which initiated an
investigation.
Jouda stated to PCHR that Bunian Association was established

in addition to two volunteers.
PCHR is concerned over the recurrence of such incidents
recently. PCHR calls upon the
Palestinian National Authority, represented by the Attorney-General, to
investigate such incidents and bring the perpetrators to justice.
