landed on her house. This incident demonstrates
the situation of security chaos and assaults on the rule of law which prevails
in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt).

Centre for Human Rights (PCHR), at approximately 03:00 on Wednesday, 31 October
2012, a homemade rocket landed on a house belonging to Jihad Hamdan Madi, which
is located in Kherbat al-‘Adas neighborhood, north of Rafah, in the south of
the Gaza Strip. The rocket exploded,

and caused material damage to the house.

repeatedly attacked. PCHR calls upon the
government in Gaza to take the necessary measures to protect the lives of
Palestinian civilians and their property.
