The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed 18 Palestinians, including a woman and a child, in separate attacks across the Gaza Strip between 10 and 14 October 2026. The attacks targeted a residential apartment, a civilian vehicle, and gatherings of people, while several Palestinians succumbed to injuries sustained in previous attacks.
The IOF continued to target the remaining residential homes and expand the Yellow Zone into additional areas, forcibly displacing hundreds of Palestinians from their homes. Meanwhile, approximately two million Palestinians are living in worn-out tents and makeshift shelters that lack the basic necessities for protection and a dignified life, within an area accounting for no more than 30 per cent of the Gaza Strip’s territory.

The shooting injured two women, who were transferred to the Red Cross Field Hospital in al-Mawasi, Rafah, for treatment.
Meanwhile, the IOF continued to target residential homes and issue evacuation orders that force residents to flee before their areas are bombed. On Saturday evening, 10 October 2026, the IOF issued evacuation orders for residential blocks in al-Rimal neighborhood, Gaza City; the area surrounding ‘Aisha Mosque near al-Tawam Roundabout, west of Jabalia; the Abu Dahrouj Street area, southeast of al-Zawayda; and the vicinity of al-Ramlah Elementary School for Girls and al-Zahra Bus Station near al-Shuja’iya intersection in Gaza City. The evacuation orders were followed by airstrikes targeting residential homes, which completely destroyed homes belonging to Farah, Hassan, al-Buhaisi, and Abu Shammalah families, severely damaged nearby homes and tents, and injured several civilians in al-Rimal neighborhood. The unlawful evacuation orders forced residents to flee the targeted areas amid fears of bombardment, forcing families to leave their homes and belongings and join the hundreds of thousands already displaced.
The ongoing killing of civilians, the targeting of homes, and the expansion of the Yellow Line are imposing a coercive reality on the population and increasing the number of displaced people who have lost their homes and life necessities. PCHR stresses the urgent imperative to halt Israeli attacks, protect civilians and their property, ensure that evacuation orders are not used as a means of forcibly displacing the population, and hold those responsible for violations against the Palestinian population accountable.
