Yesterday, 791998, The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights issued a press release on the death of Hussein Abed Abu Ghali, a resident of Khan Younis, in suspicious circumstances. As the legal representative of Abu Gahli family, PCHR demanded that Palestinian Attorney General Office investigate the case immediately.
Today, 891998, PCHR received a letter signed by Palestinian Attorney General stating that it authorized a pathologist to conduct an autopsy. The letter added that the autopsy unveiled that the death of Abu Ghali resulted from consequences of cardiac diseases and diabetes. No signs of criminal physical violence appeared on the body of Abu Ghali, according to the letter.
