On
Thursday afternoon, 17 March 2011, the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights
(PCHR) received a delegation from the Representative Office of Norway to the
Palestinian Authority including Mr. Olav Heian-Engdal, Second
Secretary-Political Affairs, and Mr. Erik Berggrav, Second Secretary. Mr. Hamdi
Shaqour, PCHR Deputy Director for Program Affairs and lawyer Eyad al-Alami,
PCHR Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs, received the delegation.
During the meeting, Shaqoura and al-Alami reviewed the situation of human
rights in the OPT.

On
Wednesday, 16 March 2011, PCHR received a delegation from Terre des Hommes-Switzerland
including Mr. Yann Colliou, Programme Manager for Middle East and North Africa,
Mr. Fred Collin, Expatriates HR Responsible, Ms. Federica Riccardi, Country
Delegate, and Mr. Paolo Pennati, Gaza Field Office Coordinator. During the
meeting, prospects of joint cooperation between PCHR and Terre des
Hommes-Switzerland were discussed. PCHR welcomed this visit and looks forward
to future joint cooperation between the two organizations.
