PCHR presents Oral Submission

to the UN Commission on Human Rights in Geneva

Yesterday, 28 March 2000, Raji Sourani, Director of PCHR, presented the attached oral submission to the 56^th Session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva, under item 8, Human Rights Violations in the Palestinian Territories. The submission was presented on behalf of the following organisations: Federation Internationale des Ligues de Droites de L’Homme, LAW – the Palestinian Society for the Protection of Human Rights and the Environment, Arab Organisation for Human Rights, Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies, Arab Lawyers Union, World Federation for Democratic Youth, South-North Organisation, and the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights.

Also attached is the written submission prepared by PCHR on behalf of the same organisations.
