Nine martyrs and tens of injured Palestinian civilians

Today evening, Wajed Mousa Abu Awwad, 21 years old from Bani Suheila, died at Shifa’ Hospital due to a bullet in his abdomen shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces at Al-Shuhada’ Junction (Netzarim Junction). PCHR’s field officers informed that an unidentified Palestinian died also at the same hospital due to a bullet in his abdomen in the same clashes. Moreover, Saleh Essa Al-Riati, 20 years old from Rafah, who was shot in the head by the Israeli Occupation Forces in Rafah on October 2, 2000, died today. In Jerusalem, the child Majdi Sameer Maslamani, 14 years old, was shot dead by the Israeli Occupation Forces. The child received a bullet in the head. PCHR was also informed that the child Mohammed Joudeh, who was declared dead at noon, is clinically dead. About an hour ago, Rashad Ismail El-Najjar, 22 years old from Al-Maghazi, was evacuated to Shifa’ Hospital clinically dead. He was shot in the head by the Israeli Occupation Forces at Al-Shuhada’ Junction (Netzarim Junction).

The number of Palestinian civilians who were killed today by the Israeli Occupation Forces has increased to 9, including a 14-year-old child from Jerusalem, and an unidentified person. In addition, tens of Palestinian citizens were injured today, including at least two cases of clinical death. Thus, the number of Palestinians who were killed by the Israeli Occupation Forces during the last 8 days has increased to 73 martyrs. In addition, more than 2000 Palestinians were injured during the same period, a number of them are clinically dead.
