Israel Kills 10 Palestinians, including a Couple and Their Two Children, and Injures Dozens in Gaza

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed 10 Palestinians, including a couple and their two children, and injured dozens more in a series of attacks documented by Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) field researchers between 7 and 10 September 2026. The attacks also destroyed homes and tents and forcibly displaced families.

These attacks are part of the ongoing killings, targeting, and destruction perpetrated by the IOF across the Gaza Strip in the context of Israel’s ongoing genocide.

According to documentation by PCHR field researchers, at around 00:15 on Thursday, 10 September 2026, several IOF military vehicles carried out a ground incursion beyond the Yellow Zone imposed by the IOF in the northern Gaza Strip, particularly at the beginning of al-Hawjah Street and in the al-Kholafaa’ al-Rashedeen area of Jabalia refugee camp. The incursion was conducted under the cover of Israeli warplanes, drones, and helicopters. The Israeli vehicles opened heavy and indiscriminate fire towards the areas to the west, wounding several Palestinians. Medical crews attempted to reach the wounded despite coming under fire. After several attempts, they managed to reach the injured and transport them to al-Shifa Hospital for treatment.

At around 01:45 on the same day, Israeli warplanes launched a missile at a house belonging to the Ahmed family near Martyr Kamal ‘Odwan Hospital. As a result, Mo’men ‘Abdel Rahman Mohammed Ahmed (39), his wife, Hanin Mousa Fares Saleh (35), and their two daughters, Lana (10) and Bana (8), were killed.

At around 13:15 on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, an Israeli warplane launched a missile at a motorcycle carrying two Palestinians on al-Rashid Street in the Sheikh ‘Ejleen area, west of Gaza City, wounding both. The injured were transferred to al-Shifa Medical Complex for treatment, and one of them was reported to be in extremely critical condition. Around two hours later, medical sources announced the death of Farah Ahmed Hamed (48) due to his injuries. It should be noted that Hamed was originally from Selwad village in Ramallah and was a former detainee in Israeli prisons. He had been released and deported to the Gaza Strip as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange in 2011.

At around 7:00 on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex announced the death of Ramzi Mohammed Salem Abu Reidah (40), who succumbed to injuries he had sustained in a strike that targeted a group of Palestinians near Dream Palace Wedding Hall, west of Khan Younis, on Friday, 4 September 2026.

At around 7:40 on the same day, the body of 69-year-old Fathi Ahmed Mahmoud Abu ‘Eyadah arrived at the hospital after he was shot by Israeli soldiers stationed in the Yellow Zone, south of Khan Younis. He was killed while preparing breakfast near his tent in the al-Maslakh area, south of Khan Younis.

At around 12:35 on Tuesday, 8 September 2026, an Israeli drone fired a missile at the roof of a house belonging to the Ferwana family near Sheikh Redwan Cemetery in Gaza City. As a result, four Palestinians were injured, one of whom was reported to have sustained serious injuries. All four were transferred to al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City for treatment.

At around 13:00 on the same day, one of the residents of the al-Batn al-Sameen area, south of Khan Younis, received a call from the IOF informing residents that they had to evacuate their homes and tents, without specifying the target intended to be bombed. Around 30 minutes later, Israeli warplanes launched three missiles at a two-storey house belonging to Salim Sobhi al-Lahham (63), with an area of 200 square meters, where 12 people were sheltering. The strike also destroyed the adjacent house belonging to his son, Mohammed (29), which had an area of 60 square meters and was sheltering four people. The strike also completely destroyed 10 tents, depriving 13 families of shelter, and wounded two Palestinians, including a child. The injured were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex for treatment.

At around 14:00 on the same day, IOF issued an evacuation order for residents of four residential blocks in al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip: al-Sakran, al-Baghdadi, Abu Hmeisah schools and their vicinity, and Da’abes. The order did not specify the target or location intended to be bombed.

Following the evacuation order, residents began evacuating their homes and places of displacement and heading towards Salah al-Deen Street, fearing that they would be targeted or injured. Around an hour later, Israeli warplanes launched at least two missiles at a house belonging to the Abu Gharqoud family in Block 7 of the camp, completely destroying it and two adjacent houses. In addition, seven other houses sustained critical damage, while dozens of nearby houses sustained partial damage.

At around 15:20 on the same day, IOF issued an evacuation order for residents of a residential block south of the maternity ward building at al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City. At around 16:45, Israeli warplanes launched three missiles at a house within the targeted residential block, destroying it.

At around 16:30 on the same day, Israeli soldiers stationed in the Yellow Zone, northwest of al-Mawasi in Rafah, opened fire on tents sheltering displaced people in the nearby al-Rayyan and Tebbet al-Rayyan camps, southwest of al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, located more than one kilometer away. As a result, ‘Obaydah Osamah Ahmed al-Sheikh ‘Eid (10) was killed after being shot in the chest, while Eman Mohammed Soliman Abu Shalouf (25), seven months pregnant, was wounded by a bullet to the head. She was transferred to Nasser Medical Complex, where her injuries were described as serious. She remains in the intensive care unit in a coma.

At around 17:20 on the same day, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a tent belonging to the Sa’ed family, which they had set up near the rubble of their destroyed house in the al-Mofti Land area, north of al-Nusseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. As a result, Khamis Anwar Khamis Sa’ed (36) was killed and 11 others were injured. One of the injured children was reported to be in critical condition. All the injured were transferred to al-‘Awda Hospital in al-Nusseirat refugee camp for treatment.

At around 11:15 on Monday, 7 September 2026, an Israeli drone targeted a motorcycle near Asdaa’ Prison, northwest of Khan Younis. As a result, Isma’il Ibrahim Darwish Qandil (39) was killed and others were injured. All of the injured were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex for treatment.

PCHR emphasizes that the incidents documented over the past several days demonstrate the IOF’s ongoing targeting of Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and displaced persons. The IOF continues to use lethal force against Palestinians living in areas near those under their control, while destroying homes and tents and issuing evacuation orders to residents without ensuring their safety or providing them with safe areas to relocate.

PCHR calls upon the international community to take immediate and effective action to stop Israeli crimes against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, ensure the protection of civilians and civilian objects, and halt killings, attacks, destruction, and forced displacement. PCHR further calls for tangible measures to ensure accountability for those responsible for these crimes and to end the impunity enjoyed by perpetrator of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
