Previously since October 7^th, many houses belonging to colleague Yasser’s family had been repeatedly bombed in Khan Younis, killing tens of them while many are still trapped under the rubble of their destroyed houses amid the Civil Defense teams’ inability to reach them. Among those killed were Yasser’s sisters, brothers and uncles, who were killed with their sons and daughters after enduring siege, death and starvation. Meanwhile, those who survived fled from Khan Younis to seek refuge in al-Mawasi area, where they were bombed again.

PCHR condemns in the strongest terms the systematic killings, destruction, starvation and genocide committed against the people of the Gaza Strip in full view of the entire world and extends sympathies to dearest colleague Yasser and his family.
